Ella Danyluk gaduated NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, studying theatrical sound design at the Production & Design studio. She also completed her primary studio training at Playwrights Horizons Theatre School. She's worked at a number of venues across New York, including Theatre Row, Playwrights Horizons Uptown, Ars Nova, and Tisch School of the Arts.
Perhaps the World Ends Here

Set simultaneously in our world and the world of Choctaw mythology, Perhaps the World Ends Here from writer/director Daniel Leeman Smith tells a complex, maximalist epic of Frankie Brown as she unravels the history of her grandmother, discovers a plot to change the course of human history, and finds the strength within herself to accept her place in the universe.
Co-Design was done with Megan Hayward, with assistance from Nina Ganyard and mentorship from Mark Bennett.


Nutritious Evil
Somewhere between Harry Potter fanfiction, Sex Education, and something entirely all its own. Nutritious Evil was a process that centered around the tenets of collaboration, care, and play. Under the collaboration and direction of Georgia Evans, Nutritious Evil ran at Playwrights Horizons Theater School in November of 2023.

In a thought-provoking collaboration between NYU Tisch School of the Arts and Verbatim Theatre Company, this entry to the NYU 2023 Festival of Voices tackles the difficulties faced by those simply trying to find housing in New York. Assisting Megan Hayward and under the guidance of Mark Bennett and John Kemp, the production ran in April 20th, 2023.
Waning Crescent

Waning Crescent, written and directed by Kai Sun, is a retelling of the story of Chang'e, the Chinese goddess of the moon. Set both then and now, Waning Crescent explores themes of motherhood, family power dynamics, and what we're willing to sacrifice for those we love.

Jane Eyre

In a queer adaptation of Jane Eyre, written and directed by Sarah Aoki, themes of repression, freedom, love, and ghosts are all explored over the course of the story. By taking a Charlotte Bronte's classic piece and adapting it to resonate even more with audiences today, we ask ourselves: "how does love set us free?"

Tisch's Fall Mainstage Production; Big Zoo is an absurdist story about a struggling zoo that questions hope, family, compassion, and how all of these can survive under such tight constraints.
